In summary, the effects of six commonly used oil extraction organic solvents were compared to extract edible oil from wet algal mud and dry powder. It was concluded that a mixed solvent of ethanol and n -hexane was more suitable for extracting oil from wet algal mud, and a single solvent of n -hexane was more suitable for forming dry microalgal powder.
