Production Soybean oil, meal and beans To produce soybean oil, the soybeans are cracked, adjusted for moisture content, heated to between 60 and 88 °C (140–190 °F), rolled into flakes, and solvent-extracted with hexanes. Conclusions. We report an efficient method to isolate DNA from refined soybean oil—the CTAB–NucleoSpin Food Kit method. Approximately 21~225 DNA copies could be isolated from 1 mL soybean or blended oils using this optimized method, which could be effectively used for both qualitative and quantitative PCR.
