As shown in Fig. 3a, b, the highest oil recovery achieved using the screw press was 69.01%, which was obtained from rubber seed kernels pre-dried at 105 and pressed at 100 . The oil recovery increased by 22.78–27.64% when the pressing temperature was increased from 60 to 100 ℃, due to reduced percolation resistance resulting from the lower viscosity of the oil at higher temperature.
