The oil extracts from palm kernel cake were obtained with supercritical CO 2 at temperatures of (40–80) C and pressures of (150–350) bar. The highest extraction yield on dry basis was (7.82 ± 0.28) %, obtained at 350 bar/80 °C; however, the oil fraction employed in the transesterification process was that obtained at 150 bar/40 °C.
