4. Conclusion. The novel physical refining at pilot plant scale for the production of refined red PPFO had been successfully carried out. Water degumming step with 5.0 wt/wt% of hot distilled water at 90 掳C for 20 min reaction was able to remove hydratable phospholipids with degumming efficiency of 91%.
